Goodbye Hon Wai!!

Hi everyone. Second sem just ended. Actually I should feel happy about it, but I just couldn't feel the happiness as Hon Wai had just left and don't know when only he will be back again.

All of us didn't have a proper dinner or sort of farewell with him. haiz.. Feel sad about it. In our last lunch together, we just say bye like how we do normally. Last lunch already and it feels like no one feels uneasy about his leave. Why is that so?

Anyway, just hope you guys wish him good luck and dreams come true.

From Programming to Charity, Always About Helping People

Bill Gates, the chairman of Microsoft and one of the world's richest men, is stepping down his job of running the world's largest software company. He plans to devote his time to charity work.

Bill Gates hoped that he could make a personal computer on every desk in every home. He did it. He programmed his first computer at the age of 13. While studying in Harward University for 2 years, he spent most of his time in front of the computer, polishing his programming skills. He then set up Microsoft with his childhood friend, Paul Allen after dropping out of college and moved to Albuquerque.

Microsoft signed and agreement with IBM to build the operation system, MS-DOS. Microsoft went public in 1986 and Bill Gates became the youngest billionaire within a year.

Now, even with the age of 52, he still has a boyish look, but he is no longer the world's richest man as it is overtaken by the investor Warren Buffett and the Mexican telecom tycoon Carlos Slim. Although so, with the current fortune he has, he decided to leave his day job and concentrate on his charitable organisation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

He will remain as Microsoft's chairman and work on technology projects. According to Mr Gates, great wealth brings great responsibility and his future work will include finding new vaccines and financing projects in the developing world.

Friday - Finishing Line of BUSY WEEK

Friday, due date for ER diagram of database class. Our lecturer, is pregnant. On the first day of the class itself, she was on MC. After that, she was hospotalized. Reason? Unknown. She was back last week but our first lab class has not started at all and it is week 6 already. She promised us that she would replace and catch up the lessons we missed and lab classes will start after a certain chapter is taught. This week, the chapter was taught and we thought we would have our first lab class which is on Thursday. Some said that there is and some said no. So we were in a mist. We approached our programme officer and she said she would confirm it with us. We waited until 3.45pm and I called miss Anna to confirm the lab class. Lab class will begin next week.

Because of this matter, one student went to make a complaint to our head of programme, saying that there was a misconduct of classes by our lecturer. Our lecturer was very angry about it and she immediately replaced our lab class on Friday, the day after the complaint made. She said she already promised us she would replace the classes for us but someone still went to complaint. So she had no choice but to replace it immediately. Thanks to the fella, we had a last minute replacement which gave us problem as some of us already bought the ticket back to hometown and so on. Only half turned up in the end.

This was the end of the busy week. It was really tiring. This sem is much more worse than the previous sem. I hope I will be able to pass it. Haiz..

Thursday - Final Check Point of BUSY WEEK

Thursday was the due date for Web project proposal. At first, I thought my group was the only one which is successful in handing it in in time as the other groups have not printed anything out. Unfortunately, the content of the proposal was not as good as it should be. It wasn't very detail. Although the Japanese group has not printed anything out, but they were able to show a much more detailed but rough proposal.

I am somehow a perfectionist, so I set myself to do things especially group assignments to be near perfect or at least the best or top 3. Being disappointed at my own work and personally, I feel that it is my responsibility that I didn't do a good job in providing a good proposal which consist of my group members' effort. I wasted their effort though they didn't think so. To better things up and make their effort worthful, I decided to improve the proposal according to the lecturer's requirement.

At night, with the proposal done, I had my group meet up at bakery for another discussion and in the meantime, show them the improved proposal to see if there is any mistake. After our discussion which took up about an hour, we went to Al-Salam for supper. Kenny & Roger were very hungry as we didn't have our dinner. We went to the sideboard. I picked 2 chicken chests, one fried one curry, and a beef. I ordered a 'teh tarik' as well. While eating, we watch the exciting football match. The crowd was making noise when the players missed their shot. It was kind of a enjoyable atmosphere with all the woohaas, aiyo, goal! around.

When the bill comes, it wasn't surprising at all yet enjoyable. My supper cost me RM11.20. If I had my dinner before this, my dinner plus supper would have cost me about RM17. Well, RM11.20 didn't make me full enough. But no choice, its late already, Good Night time.

Wednesday - Fun Point of BUSY WEEK

Wednesday was the big day. Our first birthday celebration of our group. After the class, around 7pm, Tee Siang and I went to Secret Recipe by car. The price for most of the cakes in whole cost RM70. I didn't know which to choose as I afraid that some might not eat cheese if I chose that. Only left chocolate cakes which have the most choices. So I asked which is the most popular one. The manager pointed it to me. I forgot the name of the cake but it was made of chocolate and ice cream. Then I remembered some of them said that they like ice-cream cake, so I decided to take that.

Here comes the interesting part. We requested the "Happy Birthday" to be written followed by Torros' nickname, "臭阿瓜" , followed by "Torros". To whole sentence would be "Happy Birthday 臭阿瓜 Torros" - (for more information on why '臭阿瓜' was given to Torros as nickname, please visit http://torros-ych.blogspot.com/ or http://profiles.friendster.com/torros)

Being a malay, the manager doesn't know how to write '臭阿瓜'. So I have to write it myself using the 'cream pen'. It was my FIRST time writing words on cake!! Torros took my first-time away which I reserve for my future wife or girlfriend. SAD!! The cream pen was almost out of 'ink'. The manager wanted to give me a new one but it was very big, so I didn't want. It was very hard to be handled by a newbie like me. Squezzing hard on the pen, my hands were shaking. The result was utterly bad!! But the sentence formed a Z if looked at far side.

All of us who stay in campus hostel gathered in front of bakery at 11.30pm. Then we walked to bistro to meet up with Tee Siang and Hon Wai. Bringing the cake along, all of us walked to Torros' house which is near Al-Salam. As Max told Torros that he would be going to his house to take a software cd, he went in first with Roger. The rest of us were getting ready outside the house while waiting for Max to give us a signal. Once we received the signal(sms), we lighted up the candles and brought it up to Torros' room. There goes the song and everything. Together with Torros' housemate which included Roger's younger brother, Chin Yong, the feast began. We were watching the football math while Tee Siang, being the photographer, took some shots of us.

After we have cleaned up, it was time to give our birthday boy a memorable present, 'Aluba'. We have the strongest among us, Roger and Long Sheng, to hold on to Torros' hands while Max and I grabbed his legs. Torros felt the LOVE from all of us.

LOVE giving was over and all of us headed for CC!! Our tradition? I guess so. It was near 1am. The CC near bistro was full so we have no choice but to go to campus' CC. 4on4 dota match began. Each team was able to win once after the 2 hours game which brought us to midnight 3am. Everyone was tired and went back home to sleep as we have 8am class the next morning. Cool..

All of us had fun. I'm sure we have given Torros a memorable 19 birthday and nightmare after the LOVE giving ceremony.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TORROS!!

Tuesday - 1st Check Point of BUSY WEEK

On Tuesday, we had our discrete math test. The night before, 3 of us, Max, Roger and I went to the temporary common room in AO to revise. There were a lot of people studying there. To be honest, I salute those people. Everyday, I could see all the common rooms filled with people. Unlike some of us, we only go there to study when test or final exams are approaching.

On Tuesday morning, we were seated accordingly, a space between each person. The atmosphere in the class was unusually serious. The test began and oh no, Torros and I forgot to bring our calculator. We were so careless!! I left it in the pouch I brought to study the night before. We had to borrow from Roger who was sitting on my left and I pass to Torros on my right when he needs it. We have lost some time over that.

After the test was over, as usual, we discussed about it and see which question had we got wrong. At times like this, after the test, we were able to relax a bit, stress level reduced. The next was Web class. Lucky enough, it was a relaxing one as well. We were given articles to read and present what we have read. It was somehow relaxing compared to the usual lecture classes.

At night, my Web project group (Max, Roger, Torros and I), the Chinese Cuisine-ians, had our discussion in Bakery. Torros was in a hurry to somewhere, so we dismissed as soon as possible. Now left 3 of us, and we started to plan for a birthday celebration for Torros. If I'm not mistaken, he is the first birthday boy in our group of friends. Every month we would have one birthday celebration as each of our birthday drops on every following months. Cool? Torros is the first. So from June onwards, we will have birthday celebration every following months. Haha..

Monday - Starting Point of BUSY WEEK

I've missed blogging for so many days as I was very busy during the weekdays. There were 1 assignment due on Monday, Math test on Tuesday, Torros birthday on Wednesday (11 June), proposal due on Thurday and ER diagram due on Friday.

On Monday, the first thing I do after I've returned back to my room was to sleep till 11am to transfer my assignment files to my 'pendrive' which is actually an external hard disk. Then I went to meet with my classmates. Almost all of us were busy doing the final editing of our programming assignment once we discussed and found the mistake. Though it was a last minute thing, but in this way, without plagiarising, we could help each other to find out the mistakes and able to know that there is a better or different to do it.

I actually edited mine twice or so. Printed twice. I was so careless that I didn't notice my mistakes in one shot. Few of us had spent about RM10 on one assignment. The printing cost about RM2.50 each time we print - depended on how many pages we have. Lucky enough, when we submit our assignment before 4pm, the lecturer told us that we have to bind it. If we were to bind it before that, the cost for sure would have bombed us all and we have to eat bread for our dinner. Monday was a mess.

Despite the mess we had before we hand up our assignment, we were able to submit a better quality of assignment without all the careless mistakes.

The Power of Accomplishment

This week has been a busy week. Stact Club, the only club I joined together with Chee Heng(Torros), Chin Yang(Roger), and other classmates, is organising the Charity Monopoly Challenge. On Tuesday, they drew the floor advertisement. On Wednesday, they would start painting it and after that start drawing the huge banner. Torros was seeking for help, though I am not part of the organising team, I would like to give a hand. Roger also agreed in giving a hand but in the end, he couldn't come as he was feeling unwell.

They appointed to meet each other at 8pm at SAO. Everyone's job is the same, paint the drawings. It wasn't a easy task as it looked. At first there were less than 10 painters, which is a very small team. As the indicators of the clock were nearing 12, showing it's already late, most painters started to leave, leaving 5 behind. Torros and I were one of them. Leaving behind these 5 person, the work got harder.

After we have finished the painting, it's time to draw the banner. We planned to project the image on the banner by placing the projector on the ceiling or above banner so that we could follow the image and drow, but we were having a problem in getting the signal to the projector through the laptop. After about half and hour of guessing and setting, we finally get it. But problems yet to come. The projector needed a higher place to screen the image on the banner to be fit but there wasn't such place and the plug was not long enough. So we gave up and decided to draw the banner using the other technique, freehand. Thanks to the pro drawer, the publicity for the event, she manage to draw everything freehanded and yet precisely. The part I drew, it was a mess till she came and corrected it for me. I felt like I gave her more problems instead of help. I don't have the art genes. Felt so guilty about it.

Anyway, it was already over 4am, Thursday, when everythin is done. Torros and I only have 2 hours to sleep before 8am class and the Thursday classes are from 8am to 2pm straight. Oh my god. I was so doomed, we were so doomed.

We were late for the first class for about 20 minutes. Sleepy in the following classes. After the tiring day, we rushed back to sleep as we were going to have our 2nd session at 8pm same place to paint the banner we drew the day before.

On Thurday, more helpers were called. Roger (Chin Yang) and his girlfriend came to help as well - after feeling guilty about not able to give us a hand on Wednesday night. On halfway through, even Max came to help. His main reason to come over was to take something from Roger, but end up helping us, how kind. The atmosphere in the working place became more lifely as 4 of us, Max, Roger, Torros and I started to chat and joke. This way, it is more relaxing. Although the number of helper has tripled the previous night's, we only manage to complete everything at 4am. After the tiring hours, 5 of us, Roger, Max, Torros, another friend and I went to Bistro to have our supper.

After refilling our energy, we carry the tools back. I had to carry the heavy banner all the way from Bistro to Block L hostel.

Today, after the hardwork from everyone, the banner is finally up on display. My first time drawing and painting such huge banner. It is even my first time trying to tie such huge banner in order to display it. The banner is about 3 stories long, 2 classes wide. What an accomplishment.

I am happy that I was able to help, somehow, in some ways. Although it was very very tiring and there are many assignments, proposal and test due the following week, no matter what it took us to complete the work, the feeling of being able to accomplish something after intense hardwork is great.

Lovely Couples & Class Ajinamoto

Wow.. I just came back from cyber cafe. Bad student right? Someone also went to CC till late night. Han Seng or Max. But he went there to edit his blog as the line in hostel was terribly slow. I felt so guilty as while I'm enjoying my game he is doing his assignment. Sad.. Handful of students would actually pay for the CC service to do homework, mostly is for gaming. Like Max, he is one of those good students. Seriously salute him.

While I was on my way back to my room, I saw 2 couples sitting on the concrete bench in different side. They were doing something under the shadow (PRIVACY). Well, it was kind of sweet to actually stay up till so late to do such thing after a day of exhaustion. When I reached block E, I saw 2 of my friends who are also couple. They kissed each other goodbye even in front of the guard and others. There are a lovely couple. Another couple was spotted in the common room of my block. The girl was actually helping to guy to apply some medicine. Haha.. don't know why today I saw so many lovely couples. Suddenly feel like I hope for one. Just kidding. Even if I really wished, I guess it is impossible. Only 1 female student in my course for my batch. Unfortunate for all the 4 lecturers who teach my batch, all four ladies have to face this bunch of monkeys. Haha.. Sorry brothers, but I think we are, as what we have seen in our previous C++ class, Max actually made the lecturer laughed till she couldn't stand it and hit him. See how naughty we are.

It was good that he actually added some spices during the class, but Miss Chong said it was too much. I think she was joking. She didn't say it in a more serious way. She was actually laughin. Haha.. Hope no one ask her to read this post. I don't want to get it from her. Miss Chong is actually a hard-outside-soft-inside lecturer, I guess. She always put on a serious look during the class. When it comes to jokes, she tend to hide her laughter. But after 3 weeks, I think she couldn't stand not to laugh anymore. She told us that in her many years of teaching, we are the naughtiest ones. To be honest, when we stepped into the class for the first time, we all said:"This is bad, she looks so fierce. We are going to have a hard time." But who knows, we broke the ice. All thanks to our class' Ajinamoto, Max. Good job Max!!

Girls' School Uniform IS Sexy?! OMG..

There is something very funny that I'd like to share after reading a news in The Star Online. The title is "Nothing sexy about girls' school uniform" It is a Monday news. The NISA, the X X Students Association, criticized the uniform as being too sexy and encouraging rape and pre-marital sex.

Before I tell you why it is very funny, let me show you the school uniform in our country.

This is how our secondary school uniform looks like. For primary school, the only difference is the color, which is dark blue.

Is this very sexy? Sexy till the extent that it encourages rape and pre-marital sex? I think, that is A BIT over. If a gun is pointed at me and forced me to say who is sexy in the picture, I think I would scratch my head off and guiltily say that the girl sitting in the first row, third person from the left, sitting beside the teacher, who only showed her head, arms, and half of her legs is sexy. Can you point out any others and say she is sexy? If those who are just showing their head and hands are considered sexy, every female in the world is sexy unless they cover their whole body like a mummy.

I wonder what the person who criticized is thinking. How does he want the uniform to look like? Cover the entire body and leave holes for fingers, eyes only? Or he really want students of the entire country to be mummy? I think by that time the number of death each year will increase due to Asphyxia.

This is so ridiculous. Is there nothing else better to do besides raising some nonsense issue? Please take the time to do more that benefits the country. And besides, the association should do something about the education system, which somehow really encourages rape and pre-marital sex.

Students aren't getting enough sex education accordingly. As a result, the strong curiosity has led to these problems. Certain knowledge must be input when the students reached certain age. Just like different stages of education are taught according to the students' standard, from kindergarden to primary school; from primary school to secondary school and so on.

Some PEOPLE should be more open-minded and realise the true cause of the problem.

Problems Regarding This Blog

Is anyone of you having a problem in viewing my blog? As in do you find there is some problem in the template? Because just now when I check on my blog in computer lab, the page elements were all messed up. For example, the design of the template became half, the bottom element which phrased with "Thank you for dining with me" appeared in the top section of the blog. As a result, the latest post was unable to be read. I tried exporing my blog using another computer, but the result was the same.

The weirdest thing is, as I came back to my room and check on my blog, everything is fine. Nothing is wrong. So I was wondering is there actually a problem in my template. I have to fix it as soon as possible. So if you found any problem please tell me as soon as possible. Thank you!!

Eye-opening Interactive Device

A new interactive device was introduced in Web class. It is a very portable device which the product company allow the college to have a 1 month trial. If satisfied, units which each costs about RM 2 k will be bought and used during lessons.

With a sensor placed sensing the screening area, a sort of pen in a larger size will generate a kind of harmless wave when the pin at the end of the pen touches a surface. Functions of this device is basically drawing, high-lightning, acting as an eraser and so on.

Along the class, the device wasn't used as much as it could be. So I think that it is not needed till the extent that it should be bought in large amount and used in every class. However, with the device, the class would be more attractive and efficient. Lecturer would be able to high-light the important points easily without editing the slides which would take up time. Though not much time would be taken, but in the teaching process, even a second is important for both educator and learner.

Educational technology is slowing growing. It isn't just about being interactive but also being efficient. It wouldn't be easier for the educator and the learner without all these technologies. Students wouldn't be able to understand better with just a blackboard and chalk. More stimulation towards sense organs would increase the ability of ones understanding. Technology is indeed needed in any field.

Thoughts Hardest to Understand. Road Most Taken.

Just came back from 6-hours-straight class. After the last class, C++ programming, all of us were discussing about what we have learnt. We became stoned when we saw a girl dressed in a white dress. We could clearly see her inner wear, or more precisely underwear, as it was in black. Overall, her dress was 50% transparent.

This is the question. Why female, in any ages, would like to wear revealingly while they are afraid of being revealed?? They should have been aware that wearing in that way would be revealing yet they still want to wear. I just couldn't get it. Wearing white dress with black or dark coloured inner wears inside, common sense would have be able to tell that white couldn't cover dark colour, especially black. Was her intention simply to show everyone that she is wearing sexy black inner wear and attract all the attention? Or she was trying to ask for a lecturer to give her lessons on colour management.

Besides having a problem in colour management, there is another problem. Girls like to wear short skirts and dresses. Every time the girls would have problem sitting down. They would find any ways to cover between their legs, afraid that other people would be able to upskirt them easily. The worst is when they are required to sit on the floor during an event of activity. Why girls still like to wear such shorty when they are giving them such problems? Is it because of its cooling system? The shorter the better? If that's the case, I personally suggest that it is better not to wear.

We all are aware that there were many cases of girls in any ages being raped, and are still happening. There could be many causes behind all these.

First, the raper was insane or inhumane or super duper pervert.
Second, the raper wanted revenge against the victim.
Third, maybe most unacceptable by female, victim actually attracted the wolf herself.

Around us, we could see youngsters and even adults like to wear revealingly. The reason, as a guy, I don't know. Maybe they think the way they wear would make them look good. Or like what I said before, they wanted attention.

Well.. No matter what the reasons are, I'm sure disadvantages are more than advantages.
What can you get by revealing? Better lover? Fastest way to get a lover? Getting the spotlight? Being asked to be model or actor after a producer saw the sexy way you were wearing?

Do you know the exact answer?

I'm not saying that girls can't wear revealingly like white shirt with dark-coloured inner wear or wear a super short skirts or dresses. All I'm trying to say is, clothes are made for our comfort and to protect us. Isn't it? When you feel uncomfortable and it is not that protective, why wear it? Why wear something that you have to afraid that something bad will happen to you? In a simpler way, why do we have to wear in fear?

For cooling system purpose, you don't have to wear till THAT short to have the system running perfectly right? Why wear till SO SHORT till it is like not wearing anything or better don't wear.

For fear of being upskirt-ed, you have to cover between the legs or use other ways to prevent being revealed (I haven't wear a skirt or dress before, so I don't know any other ways or skills that are REQUIRED to cover).

For fear.. I think nothing else. I only can see that girls wearing short skirt or dress are afraid of this. Girls wearing revealing clothes like low-chest shirt, I think they purposely want to reveal. They are ready to reveal. There is nothing to be afraid of.

In conclusion, females' thought is hard to catch. Especially youngsters'. SOME girls just like to walk on a road which is less taken, a hard one. Challenging.. Good Spirit? In this matter? Think about it.

SORRY.. SORRY if I was rude in any part of this post or said something improperly. NO OFFENCE PLEASE. ESPECIALLY the LADY who is going to read this blog once a week. SORRY MISS IF I've OFFENDED YOU IN ANY WAY. Punishment could be given, but not towards my score in this subject. They are innocent. PLEASE!! I BEG YOU.

Looks of Our Country. Salute Please.. Be Grateful About It.

On Friday, last 2 days, Tee Siang, Hon Wai and I went to Subang together by car. Tee Siang was the driver while I was the director as I know the way better. He was driving carefully all along. There were many lorries and as a result most of the light vehicles were on the right lane, so were we. After we past one of the traffic lights, there was road block. Some of the cars in front of us were being asked to pull over while we were let go until we came to the last officer which is in Sarjan rank. We were accused of bypassing vehicles using left lane. We were so confused as he kept saying "You potong lane". We were on the right lane all the time, how could we be bypassing vehicles using left lane? We only moved to the left lane when we thought one of the officers asked us to go to that lane. 4 out of 5 officers let us go. But the last ask us to pull over. Does it mean that the other 4 are blind that they didn't see us bypassing vehicles by left lane or what?

He took the driving license and start recording what he has to record. We waited for more than 15 minutes as we tried to be sure of what we have prosecuted. While he was doing the explanation which none of them are useful, he asked another car to pull over. A Honda City was pulled off and was allowed to go in less than 10 seconds. Do you think recording driver and car details only take few seconds? I didn't even see the Honda driver taking out his license. You know what it means. Maybe the officer know that the driver has extra coffee so he asked the driver to give him some. Or simply because he ordered some coffee and the driver was there to deliver. Well, this happens all the time. The officers are working hard under the hot sun. We should treat them some coffee as an appreciation for their hardwork. They deserve it.

We were simply accused of commiting a fault that we ourselves don't know. He told us that if we don't admit that we are wrong, it is ok, don't pay for the penalty. There was a section where the driver has to sign as a declaration that he has prosecuted the fault. He strongly opposed to sign, which is a right thing to do. He didn't do anything wrong, he don't have to sign. Without any further conversation. We were allowed to leave. I think there is something wrong with the sarjan's eyes. Or he was just very thirsty. If thats the case, sorry, we couldn't help.

Another story of our 'respective' law enforcement officer happened on the same day.

At night, I went to KL for dinner. KL that time was very very jam as a result of in-operatable traffic lights. 2 traffic police officers, with their Honda motorcycle parked in the middle of the road, was directing the traffic. Most of the times, the presence of these officers means worse condition. The condition would'nt be as worse as after they showed up. You will get what I mean after I tell you the whole story.

Vehicles from other lanes were directed to move until the road became loose, while only 4 to 6 cars from our lane are directed to move. See? Out of 4 lanes, more than half the number of vehicles from the other 3 lanes were directed to move. Only 4 to 6 vehicles from our lane were allowed to move. They have been doing this the whole night. No wonder it was so jammed.

The most interesting part is. Both of them ran away in the middle of their operation. Leaving the screwed up condition of the road behind. Traffic lights weren't back to normal at all and they left. After they flee away, car started to move on their own. Traffic started to flow smoothly like it is supposed to.

From this incident, I can say that our law inforcement buddies are so 'responsible'. They messed up and they left. So what are they hired for? To mess things up? We pay them for that? They use our money to buy a Honda motorcycle for them to look cool?

This is how our country is being run. This is how our country grows. Slowly and steadily. "Malaysia Boleh!" Definately can.

Mother Nature is calling out. Are You Ready?

Back from 3-day holiday, weekend and Wesak Day. I was shocked by 2 news happened within these 3days.

On Tuesday morning when I was going back to my hostel, I saw some fragmented concrete along the road. I thought it was some maniac drivers who carelessly hit the roadside. What really happened was, on Sunday, a lightning actually hit Block F's roof top. The concrete fragment eventually dropped and damaged part of the shed below it. Luckily the lightning didn't hit the people inside the room and no one was hurt when the fragments dropped.

The lightning wasn't that shocking compared to the second news. Students staying in hostel actually felt the earthquake from Sumatra. It was at night and most of the students were in their room. Some thought the vibration came from either downstairs or upstairs, vibration of laud songs being played. After vibrating for about 5 seconds, some screamed. Most of them came out of the room and wondered what happened.

I would say it is unfortunate that I wasn't there to experience or witness, the lightning and earthquake incident.

Malaysia was once known as natural-disaster-free country. But it seems that the defination should be ripped off from Her. World is changing slowly. I guess we should be ready for other unpredictable disasters. There is no longer any absolute that no other natural disasters will happen to this country. Despite why we called the location of this country as strategic, we have experienced Tsunami, various typhoon wipeout, minor earthquakes and so on. Anything could happen as the world is changing. Be ready.

Mother Nature's Punishment?

As most of us have heard of, mostly about what happened to China, there was another country which was greeted by undefeatable mother nature. On 2 MAY, Myanmar was winnowed by cold and devastating Cyclone Nargis, killing more than 130,000 and leaving more than 2 million homeless. Although aids are having difficulty entering the country as the government is not going easy in approving the visas, many people are still struggling to aid. It may sound ridiculous for some of us, but to think again, if too many people are entering the country, even if they are there to help, they are actually taking up the space needed for people made homeless. Even more upset news, aids being transported by boats, sank before they could reach Myanmar. All we can do is to aid in other possible ways.

On 12 MAY, after rested for 10 days, perhaps, mother nature went to China and hailed her with an 7.9 magnitude earthquake. After bringing down Eastern Sichuan, the government was forced to appealed more than 5 million tents for homeless. More than 55,740 people are known to have died, another 24,960 missing and 292,481 injured. The cause of the quake was the result of motion on a northeast striking reverse fault on the northwestern margin of the Sichuan Basin. (For more information, please search from the Website)

After the fuss made by Tibetans, there comes another bigger matter. After all these matters happened, will the 2008 Olympic Games still be as expectant as before? Are we able to put things down within 2 months and move on to the grand event ahead? The answer is clear.

Just hope for the best and do what we can do.

Blogging=Assignment o.0

This blog was created due to an assignment given by my Technology of Web Developement lecturer. Well, it was a bit weird that writting and developing this blog was given as an assignment. In another way it is quite challenging as there will be a minor competition among students on whose blog will be designed or developed in a more creative or technical way. Looking forward in seeing an outstanding blog which can let us students to discover the unrevealed way of designing or developing a blog.
